Arborekod.o.o. was founded in 2009 as a part of the Fagus Group, continuing the tradition and capacities of the former company called „Privrededrveta“ a.d. Kotor Varoš, which started with work as long ago as 1965. Our business is production of the best quality wood pellet and briquette in the region.

We have been growing and developing ever since we started with work. A great significance in our development was the confirmation of our high quality by getting A1 and A2 ENplus Certificates, which are a measurement of quality for wood pellets. As one of the biggest producers of pellet and briquette in Bosnia and Herzegovina, we have a great advantage compared to the other producers. This is a controlled quality of input raw materials which we achieve, on one side, thanks to the best measuring instruments that we use in daily control of input raw materials and, on the other side, thanks to the agreement with the Fagus Group member companies, which we receive a part of the raw materials from.

By meeting all the quality standards for each produced package of pellet or briquette, we strive towards daily improvement of quality and we invest a lot of efforts in development of production technology.

Our pellet and briquette are used by a great number of consumers and the biggest part is intended for the European market, as the quality that we offer corresponds to all the European standards for this type of fuel.

Arboreko is a part of the Fagus Grupe

The company was founded by the decision of the brothers Malijević in July 1991 in Kotor Varoš, with a desire to continue the tradition of wood processing started in the 1920s by their father and grandfather. In the 25 years of its existence, Fagus started from a small sawmill, employing several employees, and founded 8 member companies of the Fagus Group, with more than 400 employees.

Today, the Fagus Group is a large business giant, a locomotor of development in the region and one of the largest producers in the wood processing sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Throughout many years of growth and development, our great support and driving force were precisely our customers, consumers and business partners, whose we justify with high quality and affordable prices.
